Standard Warranty

Doors, drawer fronts, panels and all other casework sold by Kokeena Corp are warranted by the cabinet manufacturer of origin.

Workmanship & Material

Product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defect in workmanship and material for a period of two (2) years from the ready-to-ship date.  Upon inspection, the cabinet shop may elect to repair or replace defective product.

Warpage

Doors with cup or warp greater than 1/4" (measured on a flat surface) will be straightened (using industry-standard hardware), repaired or replaced at Kokeena's discretion.   Doors over 24" wide or 60" high are not warranted against warpage, but can be fitted with straightening hardware at customer's expense (as applicable).  Panel doors that exceed 47" must have a centered mid-rail to be warranted against warpage.

Exceptions

  • Stained or Natural Finished Wood: Variations in wood grain patterns and changes in the color of finished wood over time are not considered defects.  See Variations in Wood for more information on the normal variations in real wood.

  • Painted Wood: Grain telegraphing and hairline fractures at joints (panel doors) are not considered defects. They are a natural result of the continuous expansion and contraction of real wood. They do not affect the durability of the finish and are not indicative of structural failure.

  • Improper Handling: Damage caused by improper handling, improper storage, improper installation, or other abuses are not covered by warranty.
