Freight Requirements & Responsibilities
If You Are in Portland
The easiest way to receive your order in Portland is to pick it up will-call at our shop. You get the added benefit of avoiding delivery fees when you pick your order up yourself.
If you prefer, we can arrange to have your order delivered to the project site. Please read the "Common Carrier" section below for more information on what to expect and your responsibilities when receiving your delivered order.
Orders Delivered by Common Carrier
Orders outside of Portland will be delivered by common carrier (motor freight) to the shipping terminal nearest your project site for will-call pick up. Project-site delivery is also an option, at added cost. If you elect project-site delivery, the order will be delivered to your site on a lift-gate truck. The driver will unload the order from the truck and will usually be able to move it to a safe, sheltered location for you. The driver will not open or unpack the crate. You must be present at time of delivery to inspect and sign for the order. Any visible shipping damage should be documented prior to signature. The order should be unpacked and inspected and any shipping damage that wasn't visible at time of delivery should be reported to Kokeena. Do not leave the order outside or in a non-climate controlled environment. Damage resulting from improper storage is not covered by warranty.
Project site must be accessible via 24-foot freight truck (equivalent to an extra-large moving truck) or semi (tractor-trailer combination).
