6 reasons to work with Kokeena

On the fence? Here are six reasons to choose Kokeena for your project.

Design is personal and meaningful. And kitchen cabinets are no exception. When you’re envisioning a new look for your IKEA cabinets, never settle for second best.

By using Kokeena doors and casework with IKEA cabinets you get solid good looks, sturdy quality and a team that’s dedicated to your project’s success.

On the fence? Here are six reasons to choose Kokeena for your project.

Quality, quality, quality

We use solid wood frames for our shaker doors with an elaborate painted process—primed, then painted, then clear coated. And unlike other products that use MDF doors with thermally fused laminate, our cabinet doors look and feel better, are easy to clean, and, if damaged or chipped, can be easily repaired or touched up.

Sustainable Style

Kokeena is committed to sustainable business practices that benefit the consumer as well as the planet.  While our practices and methods change and evolve over time, what's constant is our dedication to sourcing products and materials that allow us to deliver uncompromising quality without compromising sustainability.

Custom design
Our casework comes ready to install in a handful of standard species, finishes and paint colors, but if it’s customized doors you want, anything is possible. Any paint color or stain, your choice of wood species, custom door and panel sizes, boxes finished on the inside, and custom shelves are all available.

The detailed difference

Our doors are manufactured as a five-part shaker giving it a custom look, with channels and grooves. Our Modern English and Old English doors are based on our standard shaker door template, or Panel door, and a variant called Ogee Panel. They are a traditional 5-piece design with solid wood rails and stiles and a veneered inset panel. While the Modern English has the unornamented lines of a shaker door, the Old English has an ogee detail on the inside of the rails and stiles.

Timeless colors

Kokeena's painted wood doors can create a confident and classically stylish room.  Our paint finish is something special — smooth and supple.  You have to feel it to believe it.  Kokeena’s colors are timeless while being classic, too. Our designer color collection is updated and curated every year, and of course, we also offer custom colors.
